Responsibilities and Duties
As part of the team, you will be responsible to the following:
- Drive yourself to our job sites.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper substrate conditions
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and in irregular spaces
- Install tiles using adhesive, mortar, or grout, ensuring alignment and uniform spacing
- Create appealing tile patterns and designs to enhance the aesthetics of residential spaces
- Work with different types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and mosaic
- Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles as needed
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Adhere to safety standards and industry best practices to ensure a safe work environment
Our requirements are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required to travel throughout Southern California
- In-depth knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to interpret design plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision and aesthetics
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy tiles and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Hours per week:
Full time M-F with 8 hour shifts.
