We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Garage Door Services LLC, a leading provider of residential garage doors and garage door openers. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and emails regarding residential garage door products and services.
- Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, availability, and installation services.
Order Processing:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including entering orders into the system, verifying order details, and coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.
Issue Resolution:
- Address customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Troubleshoot product issues and provide solutions or escalate to the appropriate department if necessary.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of their issues.
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance for garage door products and accessories.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Warehouse, and Installation, to ensure seamless customer service and support.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric attitude.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Basic technical knowledge of garage door products and accessories is desirable.
