As the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be the linchpin of our San Antonio operations. You’ll oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient, safe, and smooth operations.
This position needs a person who can grow with it, be ready for challenges and be an innovative thinker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse material and supplies and supervise warehouse personnel
- Verify incoming warehouse shipments with Branch Manager
- Submit warehouse shipment invoices to corporate
- Perform warehouse inventory counts
- Oversee and enforce proper warehouse production
- Window installation
- Door insulation
- Ensure daily warehouse production deadlines are met
- Oversee and enforce proper installer material loading and unloading
- Oversee and enforce proper material shipment unloading
- Ensure the proper execution of material transfers
- Maintain warehouse organization
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Heavy lifting-must be able to lift 50-100lbs
Forklift driving capabilities-must be certified, GDS will provide certification if needed
While knowledge of garage doors, openers, and garage door parts is not required, it will be considered a valuable asset and could expedite the hiring process.
Hiring for this position is also dependent upon a background check and drug screen.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
