Duties
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and pallet jacks, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update the warehouse management system accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse layout, ensuring that materials are stored correctly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance on equipment as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
- Familiarity with clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
