What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Attorney position at Garcia Law, PLLC?
We are looking for a family law litigation attorney. An ideal candidate will be able to start managing cases from consultation to trial. Communicaiton in Spanish is required. We also practice personal injury law and criminal defense. The position may require some assistance in those fields.
```Duties```
- Conduct legal research using various resources.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Assist in preparing for and attending court hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Interview clients and gather relevant information for cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
- Provide legal administrative support as needed.
```Qualifications```
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
