What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) position at Gardant?
Responsibilities :
- Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination of the nursing aide schedule
- Assists with various clerical duties as requested
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident informationQualificationsQualifications :
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
