JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing effective leadership and management of all operational activities and lines of business within their region of responsibility. This role will plan, direct, lead and manage oversight of multiple sites across various states and sub-regions, which provide the following services: secure transportation, ATM fulfillment, vaulting, deposit processing, coin and currency processing and check imaging. Accountable for establishing a performance-driven culture and overall responsibility for risk mitigation, security controls, safe and secure handling of liability and crashes and injuries prevention.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing effective leadership and management of all operational activities and lines of business within their region of responsibility. Accountable for establishing a performance-driven culture and overall responsibility for risk mitigation, security controls, safe and secure handling of liability and crashes and injuries prevention.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides daily leadership, coaching and feedback to direct reports including: General Managers (GMs), CVS Managers and Branch Managers
- Develops and leads a strong quality culture and assures that only the highest quality of service is provided to the clients. Ensure client Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
- Attains region’s assigned financial results including revenue retention and growth, expense control and operating profit. Also ensures support and feedback is provided to all LOB’s for attainment of entire company’s financial goals
- Ensures branch and site level compliance with and training on all company policies including state and federal regulations. Ensures compliance with and training on customer specific processing requirements and meets all customer audit expectations
- Introduces and utilizes key operating and financial metrics with focus on controllable aspects of the operating P&L
- Drives consistency of operations, identifies best practices and process improvements, and leads planning and execution of such throughout assigned region
- Establishes effective people management processes that ensure each branch/site has a talented leader managing their operation
- Provides input to SVP on decisions including salary planning and capital expense planning
- Ensures facilities management, hardware performance and replacement are reviewed semi-annually
- Monitors daily, weekly and monthly quality and productivity standards, holds management team members accountable for meeting or exceeding goals, and recognizes success. This includes proactive remediation processes identifying any deficiencies, appropriate corrective actions, and implementation of those corrective actions
- Provides active participation in management committees that assist in the policy and practice development for the company. These will include, but not be limited to security and risk, finance and performance, audit controls, customer performance and human resources management
- May represent GardaWorld on internal and external interactions including at customer locations, industry committees and workgroups, social and public relations functions, and other activities as designated
- Travels 50% throughout the region
- Performs other duties as required
- Coaching, mentoring, and supervision of General Managers (GMs) and other staff within assigned region and sub-regions
- 10 years of progressive leadership positions including oversight and management of a P&L
- 10 years of experience in the logistics field or distribution centers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or comparable combination of education and work experience required. Master of Business Administration preferred
- Knowledge of armored operations, currency processing, and bank operations is preferred
- Experience with operations that operate under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
- Experience working with a workforce covered by labor agreements or employee associations
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast passed environment and remain organized, ability to set priorities and meet any established deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of effective interaction with direct and indirect reports
- Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven track record of success
- Six Sigma or Lean experience preferred
