As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Compensation: $21.15 / Hour
• Shift: Full time: Mon-Wed 3pm to 11pm. Thurs 11pm to 7am. Friday 3pm to 11pm

• Responsibilities for Response Security Guard:

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You are experienced with emails, Microsoft word, google suite, incident reports, DAR reports, and CCTV monitors. Other security system may vary based on site. The ideal candidate with have adequate experience with various security systems.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• You can do on foot patrols inside and outside of the site during various weather conditions.
• Security officers monitor and control access to a location by checking identification and credentials, and ensuring only authorized people are allowed in.
• Security officers write reports on any irregularities or potential security breaches to prevent loss, damage, and safety concerns.
• Inspecting and patrolling premises Monitoring property entrances Securing all exits, doors, and windows
• Monitoring surveillance camera. Knowledge of computers .

• Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process for background check and drug screening
• You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
• You have an Unarmed state license for DC Security Officer license
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements,
