As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.
- Part Time: Weekends. Must be available to work mornings, evenings and overnights on the weekends. Holidays are required.
- Competitive hourly wage of $20.00/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of Surveillance Security Guard
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
- You have an active Maryland Guard Card security license
- You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems.
- Must have experience with Incident/ DAR reports
- Must have experience with guard booth security, vehicle and visitor access control, and wand/ metal detectors!
