Job Description:
We are in search of a charismatic and approachable Retail Sales Associate to enhance our team. Your role is crucial in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a memorable shopping experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and assist customers, maintaining a charismatic and friendly demeanor.
• Provide guidance in locating products and deliver informed responses to customer queries.
• Handle sales transactions with precision using the Square merchant system.
• Uphold a tidy, well-organized, and inviting store setting, inclusive of both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Manage inventory tasks and set up engaging product displays.
• Proactively acquire knowledge about gardening products and trends to offer expert advice.
• Engage in product handling and merchandising, capable of comfortably lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Answer phone calls promptly throughout the day, ensuring all customer needs and inquiries are addressed with satisfaction.
• Cultivate a basic understanding of plants, botany, and gardening to better assist customers (preferred, but not essential).

Requirements:

• Exhibits a charismatic, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
• Preferred bilingual skills.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and adapt to a mixed indoor/outdoor work environment.
• Retail sales or customer service background preferred.
• Knowledge of the Square merchant system is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Availability to work weekends and additional hours as necessary.
