The job of Instructional Coach coordinates instructional activities and curriculum implementation relating to literacy programs; assists site administrator with the transitioning of teachers; provides recommendations of expenditures for activities, equipment, and supplies that enhance the assigned program; serves as resource to assigned grade level personnel; participates in trainings, meetings, seminars for the purpose of conveying and / or gathering information; responds to inquires of other school personnel to provide information and / or direct related grade level or special area activities; and supports principal in variety of administrative activities e.g. curriculum modifications, screenings, interviewing, orienting staff.
