What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at Garden City Public Schools?
Assist students with social and emotional challenges to help them thrive academically, emotionally, and socially; serve as a resource and support district staff to enhance programs for students, monitor student academic progress for the purpose of identifying issues and taking appropriate action to increase students' skills and knowledge; research a variety of topics, participate in meetings, workshops and committees for the purpose of conveying and / or gathering information required to perform functions and remain knowledgeable with current programs and regulations.
Education : Bachelor's degree
License : Provisional or permanent LBSW
