Experienced Leasing Agent

Overview

Garden Communities, in Tampa is currently hiring for a hands-on experienced Leasing Agent, BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) is a plus to assist with lease up on a new construction luxury apartment community. Must have experience with multifamily housing and rental policies. We are looking for an experienced leasing agent that enjoys building relationships with their team and with the community. This position requires close attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work with a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

The Leasing Agent will assist in the general operation of the property and perform all related administrative functions under the direction of the Property Manager.

• Maintain professional communication with residents, applicants, employees and vendors.
• Assist in property inspections in order to assure adherence to established standards.
• Ensure compliance with all government, state and local regulations such as the Federal Fair Housing Act.
• Must have proven success demonstrating customer service, problem-solving, multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• A minimum of two years with multi-family property management.
• Working knowledge of tenant and eviction laws, make ready/renovations.
• Respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain records of leasing and maintenance.
• Responsible for leasing apartments, and as an initial contact between the public and the company, strives to project and demonstrate the value and quality of our product and service.
• Ensure all residents are provided with outstanding customer service.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in apartment management.
• Self-motivated and well organized
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Proficiency with Yardi, OnSite, MRI is a PLUS
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills
• Follows instructions, performs duties with minimal supervision and is a team player.
• Works effectively with owner, managers, and colleagues.
• Positive and professional attitude at all times
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
