Garden Court seeks a dedicated, knowledgeable, and organized Assistant to support our new Director of Nursing in assuring the highest quality of care is provided to our residents. The ADON knows their staff and supports their essential roles in our facility.
This is a Full Time Salaried Position M-F which includes On Call and Scheduling
Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing
Reports to: Director of Nursing and/or Administrator on Occasions
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to promote the physical and mental health of residents by applying the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The nurse coordinates and monitors medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, in accord with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual resident need. The nurse is further responsible to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
