Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server at Garden District, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining space, be fully knowledgeable in our food and beverage offerings, provide prompt and friendly service, and to work well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Retain and relay knowledge about all menu items and policies to guests as needed.
- Maintain an organized bar area and dining area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Process transactions accurately using our current POS system, ensuring all payments are handled efficiently.
- Engage with guests to provide outstanding guest services, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on serving or similar roles.
- Strong guest relations skills, demonstrating the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
