We are seeking a dedicated RN Director of Education to lead our education and training initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct staff development and education programs.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Develop and implement training on clinical skills, infection control, and other essential topics.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to improve their skills and clinical knowledge.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure resident care meets the highest standards.
- Facilitate mandatory in-service training and continuing education for nursing staff.
- Participate in developing policies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on education or training.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
