The McGuire Group and Absolut Care invite nursing students in their PN2 semester to join our Nurse Shadow Program. This paid opportunity allows students to observe and learn from experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) in a clinical environment. Gain valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of nurses while preparing for your future career.Program Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
- Hours: Flexible to fit your schedule
- Experience: Learn by observing nurses as they deliver exceptional care to residents.
What You'll Do:
- Shadow LPNs and RNs during their daily tasks.
- Observe communication techniques and clinical skills in action.
- Watch how vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure, are monitored and reported.
- Gain hands-on knowledge by assisting with supplies and learning workflows.
- Build confidence and professionalism in a supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently enrolled in the PN2 semester of a NYS-licensed LPN program and in good academic standing.
- Skills: Positive attitude, professionalism, strong teamwork, and customer service mindset.
- Experience: No direct patient care required – this is a shadowing role designed for learning.
