Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Associate at our limited-service hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing the front desk operations, answering the phones, maintaining lobby cleanliness, and assisting guests with their needs to ensure a pleasant stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Lobby Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area, ensuring it is welcoming and presentable at all times.
Monitor lobby supplies (e.g., brochures, magazines, coffee) and replenish as needed.
Ensure that the front desk area is tidy and free of clutter.
Refresh Coffee
Administrative Duties:
Handle phone calls, emails, and reservations in a courteous and efficient manner.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and reporting.
Collaboration:
Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction and address any facility issues.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Safety and Security:
Follow all safety and security protocols to protect guests and hotel property.
Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
