What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Garden OBGYN?
Large and Busy OB/GYN practice looking for a Medical Assistant. We are looking for a candidate who is able to learn in a fast paced environment, has a positive attitude and has a passion for OBGYN.
Medical Assistants Duties/Requirements:
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Attends all company training's
- Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Available to work AM and PM shifts including weekends
- Candidate must have at least 1 year experience working as an MA
- OBGYN experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
