Position Purpose & Summary
Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, this position oversees and administers all housekeeping and laundry operations while providing first class guest service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel, including hotel facilities, guestrooms, and public areas. Direct the evening housekeeping and laundry departments, including training, cleaning projects, and preparation for the day-time staff. Ensure that amenities are properly maintained for large functions and daily operations.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct pre-shift meetings for the evening team.
- Maintain organized department and storage areas throughout hotel, including heart of house and the storage areas on guest room floors.
- Coordinate with the leadership team on special projects.
- Lead and mentor employees.
- Occasionally assist with monthly linen inventories.
- Clean guest rooms when necessary or inspect rooms for cleanliness.
- Ensure completion of daily checklists and lobby cleaning.
- Always promote positive public/team member relations.
- Ensure that public areas and back of house areas are clean at all times.
- Maintain required pars of all housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering all needed supplies and amenities on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Responds to change well and adapts as needed.
- Learns quickly and maintains a growth mindset and is always working to develop new practices to improve service.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
- Position hours will fluctuate based on business demand and 24-hour operation.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Knowledge & Skills:
- Requires knowledge of chemicals and cleaning machines to maintain proper standards.
- Will require excellent communication skills and knowledge of Spanish.
- Knowledge of OPERA Property Management System preferred
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience:
- Knowledge of the techniques, chemicals and equipment associated with hotel housekeeping
License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Valid Drivers' License required

- Daily - Communicate with guests and members, housekeeping team members, laundry team members, front desk, dining and engineering
- Occasionally - Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions.
