Cashier/Team Member

Locations: Garden of the Gods Trading Post, The Outpost, Mountain High Sportswear, and

Mountain High Gallery & Gifts locations

Compensation: $14.81-18.50 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing guests with a friendly environment, including greeting
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, calculate discounts, wrap/bag purchases per your training and guests’ requests.
• Price and stock merchandise, clean shelves/display areas with speed and physical dexterity.
• Maintain a current knowledge of merchandise available to guests.
• Maintain a clean work and store environment; includes tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, etc.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Cross-training will occur on an as-needed basis, depending on staffing changes and business needs. While we strive to provide as many hours as possible, the company cannot guarantee a specific number of hours each week.
