Training & Education Specialist

About the Role
Garden Remedies is looking for a Training & Education Specialist to support the implementation of Seed Talent, our new training platform, for internal teams and wholesale partners. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs focused on sales, product knowledge, safety, compliance, and operational best practices. The specialist will also track engagement and performance metrics while collaborating across departments to ensure effective learning experiences. This role will assist with other HR administrative duties related to recordkeeping and compliance. The position is remote with travel to sites in Massachusetts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the Seed Talent training platform for both internal employees and wholesale partners.
- Develop and deliver training programs on sales techniques, product knowledge, safety protocols, compliance regulations, and operational best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align training programs with business goals.
- Track annual minimum training hours requirements and ensure all employees reach established goals.
- Monitors and manages Responsible Vendor Training.
- Maintains training records between platforms and personnel folders.
- Work with the marketing team to create incentives for wholesale partners to complete training programs.
- Collaborate with the Wholesale, Cultivation, Lab and Kitchen teams to develop training content that helps grow sales at partner locations and fosters brand loyalty.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, course completion rates, and the impact of training on sales growth.
- Report training program results and impact metrics to the executive team.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users of the training platform.
- Gather feedback from team members and partners to continuously improve training programs.
- Travel to company locations in Massachusetts as needed to conduct in-person training and support implementation.
- Provide backup to the HR team including Talent Management and Total Rewards Specialists as directed by the Sr. Director of HR.
- Perform other duties as assigned as business needs evolve.
