Have experience working in recreationLong-term care experience preferredPossess a passion for working with and having impactful interaction with seniorsAre creative, compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mileHave effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsHave experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitative settingPossess a positive attitudeTreat each resident with care, compassion, dignity, and respectEmbrace our person-centered care approach to meet each resident's needs and preferencesThe responsibilities & duties :
Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident's physical capacity, cognitive ability and interestInvites and encourages resident participation and assists in transportingAccompanies residents outside facility to participate in community eventsCreate decorations, up set necessary equipment, create various crafts, and award priesAssist in planning, layout and distribution of monthly activity calendarAssist in scheduling movies, planning parties and providing games / activities for residentsSupervise and lead activities as necessaryCreate decorations, setup necessary equipment, create various crafts, and award priesAttend and contribute to resident Care Plan MeetingsParticipate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees / programsThe benefits for qualified employees :
