Maintenance Team Member

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Team Member to join our Maintenance division. You will be out in the field on various job assignments throughout the local New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area to do water feature maintenance for our customers. We will pair you with one of our experienced team leads and will provide a company vehicle, all necessary equipment and tools for the job, and extensive training for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer homes and places of business to maintain their water features. These can include fountains, liner-bottom ponds, natural-bottom ponds, and waterfalls.
- Clean and repair water features as needed.
- Apply water treatments to ponds.
- Educate customers on how to care for their water feature(s).
- Provide outstanding customer service and develop positive relationships with customers.
- Sell water feature products and materials in the field.
- Assist in maintenance of features at our retail location in Warwick, NY.
- Assist in stocking supplies at our retail location and in the Wholesale division as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new things
- Punctual, able to follow direction, and able to communicate effectively
- Customer- friendly
Experience:
- Landscape experience preferred
