About the role
Jersey Shore Lab is seeking a detail-oriented Sampling Admin Assistant. This role supports daily sampling operations, including scheduling, dispatch, data review, and sample tracking.
What you'll do
- Assist in scheduling and morning dispatch of Field Sampling Department, including pool runs.
- Review LIMS logins to confirm Sample Reception entered all relevant data accurately.
- Prepare and organize digital field chlorine and pH records, including creating additional sheets as needed while samplers are in the field.
- Review pre-log to estimate subcontract work that will need to be delivered to subcontract labs the following day.
- Assist in tracking samples within LIMS to confirm sampling adheres to client and water system schedule requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with data entry and record management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with LIMS or similar systems is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time (30 hours/week)
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm (approximately)
The pay range for this role is:
18 - 18 USD per hour(USA)
