Job Description
Garden View Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Social Services to join our team. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program. The Director will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and implementing the policies and procedures of the program in accordance with state and federal laws. The Director will also be responsible for budgeting, reporting, and monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and oversee day-to-day operations of the program
- Manage staff scheduling and performance
- Oversee staffing calendar to ensure a smooth social work program
- Ensure that all client needs are met in terms of housing, transportation, food, hygiene, etc.
- Manage paperwork for client accounts and billing
- Coordinate with other agencies to resolve client concerns or issues as they arise on a daily basis
- Develop and implement policies that promote ethical behavior by staff
- Monitor performance of staff through regular reviews by supervisors and supervisors’ meetings
- Prepare annual reports for client accounts that reflect financial status, utilization, services provided, etc.
- Prepare monthly reports for client accounts that reflect social work services provided to clients. These reports should accurately reflect the day-to-day services provided to clients during the preceding month.
- Assist in planning outreach programs to community groups to promote community well-being.
- Assist in planning social service programs for local government entities as well as other non-government entities such as schools, churches, etc.
- Participate in community outreach events such as community meetings or ribbon cutting ceremonies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
