Description:
We have part-time and full-time Seasonal Positions in Material Handling available at our Distribution Center located in Milton, VT. In general, we're looking for seasonal folks to help unload and receive product so it can be safely transported and stored prior to being picked/packed and shipped to our customers. The roles here are physical in nature and require you to stand, bend, lift and walk in a warehouse setting. There are lifts up to 70lbs which can require a second person to assist. These Material Handling positions will begin in February and are expected to end in May.
Below is a more detailed description of the work you will do as a Seasonal Material Handler Unloader:
- The Materials Handler Unloader is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of delivered physical inventory to ensure accuracy of receipts in a timely manner.
- Assist with the physical unloading of product by hand stacking or by use of equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist Receiving Lead by confirming correct counts, size, product, etc.
- Prep inventory by opening cases and loading product into bins efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in areas of Product Assembly to create new Finished Goods for sale.
- Assist in areas of Fulfillment as needed to ensure timely picking and packing of customer orders.
- Stand and walk on cement floors throughout the shift.
- Frequent repetitive lifting of up to 70 pounds.
- Work independently and in focused teams.
