Landscape/Hardscape Installation Crew Leader

Gardenology, Inc., is a Asheville-based Landscape Design Build firm is looking for a dedicated, professional Installation Crew Leader to actively lead and work alongside Gardenology's accomplished installers

Required Skills Experience:

· Degree in horticulture or related field is extremely desired

. Knowledge of native plant species and local vendors preferred

· Minimum 2 years of Leadership experience

· Minimum of 4 years in the landscape industry, with focus in maintenance and installation, including hardscape elements

· Must be able to lead a project independently from start to finish with the ability to exceed expectations of craftsmanship, quality, and skill along with timely meeting of project deadlines.

· Hardscape Experience: Should have experience in (but not limited to) constructing retaining walls, fire pits, patios, walkways, fireplaces, fencing, decks, and driveways. We work with natural stone and boulders, blue-stone, granite, brick, pavers and other stone varieties.

· Landscape Experience: Installation of various landscape materials and plantings. Reading and executing site plans as instructed. Creating proper drainage and grading. All aspects of the landscape industry.

· Heavy equipment operations: Should have experience using (but not limited to) an Excavator, Skid Steer, Trailer and equipment hauling etc.

· Must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs regularly; kneel, stoop, bend, reach below overhead and potentially hike long distances as required.

· Must be able to safely drive and operate F450 and Trailer

· Must enjoy being outdoors and able to work in all weather with fluctuating conditions

· Must be able to work Monday through Friday (weekends occasionally and depending on weather.)

· Some Spanish speaking preferred

· Active and un-restricted, current Driver's License

Compensation:

$45 - 50K annual salary based on experience, performance and aptitude.

• 8 hour shift
