Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 2p-10p
Compensation: starts $23/hr DOE
Job Summary:
Gardens Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Supervisor to oversee the care and well-being of residents in our memory care unit. This role ensures high-quality care by leading and training staff, implementing person-centered care programs, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities:
β Resident Care Management:
- Oversee daily care and safety of residents with cognitive impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ensure a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes well-being.
β Staff Supervision & Training:
- Lead and mentor caregivers to provide exceptional memory care services.
- Conduct training on dementia care best practices, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and support.
β Program Development & Compliance:
- Plan and coordinate activities tailored for memory care residents.
- Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) regulations.
- Ensure proper documentation and incident reporting.
β Family & Community Engagement:
- Communicate with families regarding care plans and resident well-being.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their loved ones.
Qualifications:
βοΈ AZ Certified Caregiver Certificate required. Preferred to also have a CNA license.
βοΈ Minimum of 2 years of experience in memory care or dementia-related care.
βοΈ Leadership or supervisory experience in an assisted living or memory care setting.
βοΈ Strong understanding of dementia care techniques and best practices.
βοΈ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
