Reports to: Resident Care Coordinator
Supervises: Memory Care Med Techs and Caregivers
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 2p-10p
Compensation: starts $23/hr DOE

Job Summary:

Gardens Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Supervisor to oversee the care and well-being of residents in our memory care unit. This role ensures high-quality care by leading and training staff, implementing person-centered care programs, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Resident Care Management:

• Oversee daily care and safety of residents with cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ensure a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes well-being.

✅ Staff Supervision & Training:

• Lead and mentor caregivers to provide exceptional memory care services.
• Conduct training on dementia care best practices, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and support.

✅ Program Development & Compliance:

• Plan and coordinate activities tailored for memory care residents.
• Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) regulations.
• Ensure proper documentation and incident reporting.

✅ Family & Community Engagement:

• Communicate with families regarding care plans and resident well-being.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their loved ones.

Qualifications:

✔️ AZ Certified Caregiver Certificate required. Preferred to also have a CNA license.
✔️ Minimum of 2 years of experience in memory care or dementia-related care.
✔️ Leadership or supervisory experience in an assisted living or memory care setting.
✔️ Strong understanding of dementia care techniques and best practices.
✔️ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
