Irrigation Foreman
Job Summary:
The Irrigation Foreman leads a team of irrigation technicians, overseeing irrigation projects from start to finish. The Foreman ensures high-quality workmanship in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
- Minimum of one year experience in irrigation preferred
- Effective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, and input information electronically
- Must have a positive attitude & ability to communicate in a pleasant manner with homeowners
- Valid driver's license and ability to be added to the company auto insurance policy.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and landscaping designs
- Ability to operate and maintain irrigation equipment and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair irrigation system issues
- Leadership skills to oversee and direct a team of irrigation technicians
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage irrigation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of irrigation technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and implement irrigation plans, taking into consideration factors such as landscape design, water conservation, and plant needs.
- Conduct site evaluations to assess irrigation needs and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the installation of new irrigation systems, including the placement of sprinklers, pipes, and control systems.
- Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and repairing components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation problems, ensuring efficient water delivery and system functionality.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest irrigation technologies and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of irrigation projects, including installation details, maintenance schedules, and repair logs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
