Landscape Project Manager
Position Description
Performs a wide variety of landscape and maintenance tasks related to residential and commercial properties with a focus on crew supervision, client satisfaction and operational efficiency. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience, with minimal supervision. The Landscape Project Manager is directly supervised by the Lead Landscape Production Manager and is subject to work overtime.

Essential Functions:
Team Management
- Hire, train and supervise team team members on all job procedures. This includes coaching and upholding high employee morale
- Perform employee evaluations, approve time off requests, and work with human resources in relation to matters involving your team
- Hold team accountable and work with human resources to implement necessary disciplinary action when required
- Attend team meetings and discuss/follow company policy/procedures
- Communicate changes to start times, job objectives, goals, etc to team members
- Work with team to ensure trucks and trailers are being cleaned and inspected on a regular basis
- Participate in continued professional development by attending training courses pertinent to the landscape and hardscape industry.
- Approve daily timesheets in BOSSlm
Project Management
- Manage projects in an efficient and organized manner. The goal is to finish all projects at or below the estimated time with 100% efficiency. Project planning is paramount to an organized project.
- Uphold the highest level of quality on all projects, all the time. Period
- Communicate daily with clients to ensure customer is well informed of job progress and details
- Communicate clearly with sales person and/or designers daily to ensure accurate execution of plan
- Troubleshoot and problem solve quickly in order to help the team continue forward progress when surprises arise.
- Notify clients of the proposed start date at least 1 week in advance.
- Notify client of exact start date 24 hours in advance
- Schedule and, in some cases, deliver material and equipment prior to using it on the jobsite
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of all subcontracted work. Hold subcontractor’s accountable for all items listed in contract and execute strict quality control measures to ensure utmost client satisfaction
- Keep track of project hours and work to always hit 100% or more efficiency
- Ensure all job tickets have accurate allocations of materials and labor at time of completion
- Assist sales team with estimates
- Create project Gantts for all jobs scheduled
- Keep the production dashboard organized and job schedule up to date.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Lot / Shop Management
- Close lot per the lot closing schedule and guidelines
- Assist in morning and evening load out
- Work with teams to ensure all equipment and vehicles are being maintained in pristine condition
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be insurable on Gardens of Babylon’s Auto Policy
- Willingness to expand knowledge in landscaping, hardscaping and maintenance.
- Willing to work overtime
- Ability to lift up 80 lbs continuously
- Team Player Mindset
- Supervisory/ leadership experience
Environmental Requirements:
Must be able to work in a multitude of weather conditions that include: rain, heat, cold, snow, etc.
