This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in honing their design skills while contributing to the creation and enhancement of various marketing materials. You'll get hands-on experience working on real projects, develop your portfolio, and collaborate with a supportive team in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and update current marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and presentations.
- Assist with creating and designing content from our summer client events, including photos, videos, and event-related marketing materials.
- Create new marketing content, such as flyers, social media graphics, promotional materials, and email templates.
- Assist with website design and updates, ensuring consistent branding across all platforms.
- Help expand and refine our new branding initiatives to enhance our visual presence.
- Contribute to content marketing items like blog graphics, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team on creative direction and design strategies.
- Assist with photography and video projects (bonus if you have experience in this area).
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
- Basic understanding of web design or experience with website updates (HTML/CSS is a plus).
- Photography or videography skills are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous design work (including graphic design, photography, or video) is essential.
