Position Summary
The Mission Critical Data Center Superintendent is a crucial part of our team leading field staff on the job site to ensure work is completed on-time and upholds our commitment to excellence. You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously and will supervise all onsite work from the outset of the project through completion. You are responsible for coordinating all site construction activities between field staff and trade partners, maintaining safety and quality standards, proactively problem-solving any issues that arise, and facilitating communication between field staff, trade partners, and project managers. Responsibilities:
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee the daily construction activities for team members and trade partners
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule to project requirements and specifications
- Communicate job expectations to all field personnel
- Complete quality inspections of trade partners and field personnel
- Estimate appropriate staffing needs and schedule staff to maximize quality and efficiency. Ensure trade partner staffing levels are consistent to maintain project schedule.
- Maintain daily job site work records
- Evaluate job progress and update progress log
- Troubleshoot potential schedule and design conflicts and proactively find solutions
- Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the project
- Act as hospitable point of contact and facilitate effective communication with field personnel, trade partners, design partners, clients, and project managers
- Quickly and professionally resolve all issues that may arise with the project on the job site, assuming responsibility and mobilizing appropriate parties
- Plan, organize and hold weekly foremen meetings
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Promote safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately
- Supervise completion of final punch list
- Work nights, weekends, holidays as required by the project
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of commercial construction
- Highly in tune with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing design drawings and specifications.
- Ability to Coordinate and Manage Manage MEP shut down meetings
- High voltage electrical systems experience
- Knowledge of proper job site safety regulations
- Understanding of the scope, performance metrics, and standards of each trade partner
- Knowledge of the permitting and inspection process with the various area jurisdictional authorities
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage several tasks at once and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projects
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Ability to envision the final product and segment work into actionable steps
- Ability to lead teams in an empathetic manner while maintaining high standards for execution and quality control
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage logistics, planning, and scheduling
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Proficiency with keyboarding, email, MS Excel, MS Word, construction management software (Procore preferred), and Apple devices
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or General Foreman in commercial construction or MEP trade
- OSHA 30 certified
- Experience leading and scheduling integrated teams
- General Contractor experience preferred
- Experience within Data Centers and / or Mission Critical Environments
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to utilize a computer to perform data entry, word processing and spread sheet operations.

Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, you may be exposed to outside weather conditions at job sites, including wet and/or humid conditions, cold and heat.
- For renovation work, hazardous material or conditions may be present in the existing building.
- Noise level at these sites may be unusually loud at times. Job sites are typically dusty.
