Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Be able to operate a sit-on powered sweeper.
- Ensure restrooms and break areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required to uphold safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining outdoor areas by removing debris and ensuring pathways are clear.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities management team promptly.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and materials.
- Support special cleaning projects as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with staff members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving heavy items.
