Business Development Manager – Contract Manufacturing

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a high-energy, self-starting Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our contract manufacturing business. If you thrive on chasing high-impact opportunities, closing meaningful deals, and making a difference from day one—this is your seat at the table.
You’ll be the driving force behind our business development efforts, uncovering new revenue streams and building long-term partnerships across the OTC drug, cosmetics, and medical device sectors. This role isn’t just about hitting sales targets—it’s about earning trust, creating tailored solutions, and generating sustainable growth in a competitive, fast-moving space.
What You’ll Own
- Develop and execute bold, strategic sales plans to drive contract manufacturing growth
- Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
- Build lasting client relationships by deeply understanding customer needs and aligning them with our capabilities
- Serve as the key link between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations that win trust and close deals
- Negotiate scalable, profitable contracts aligned with company goals
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive shifts, and market dynamics
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering preferred)
- 3 years of proven B2B sales success—ideally in contract manufacturing, OEM, or industrial services
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience in CPG, OTC drugs, cosmetics, or medical devices
- Familiarity with GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
Compensation
- Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 base
- Bonus opportunity: Up to 10%
