What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct-Department of Physician Assistant Studies position at Gardner-Webb University?
Gardner-Webb University invites applications for adjunct faculty to serve in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies (DPAS).
Responsibilities include generating and delivering classroom lectures and clinical skills instruction, as well as developing and grading assignments, quizzes, and examinations throughout the semester based on the individual course requirements.
The program offers opportunities to teach during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters as desired.
Qualification Requirements :
- Has a minimum of two years of employment in direct patient care as a PA or MD if currently working in the medical field.
- Has a doctorate in the field of expertise if a content expert. (i.e. : PharmD, Anatomist, etc.)
- Has excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Possesses the ability to use computers for organization, word processing, and communication.
- Has availability to teach during the weekday.
