Gardner-Webb University, a NCAA Division I institution and Big South Conference member, invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. This position serves as an extension of the head coach and liaison to the operations of the women’s basketball program.
Responsibilities include: detailed recruiting plan for staff, updated weekly call list of recruits and coaches, organization of unofficial and official visits, any compliance paper work for visits, organizing and planning of all evaluation periods, monitoring the mail outs and outgoing graphics, preparing any presentation material for zooms or visits, responsible for point guard development, responsible for opponent scouting, responsible for game day preparation, assist with any women's basketball camps, academic liaison for her (3-4 player group), athletic training liaison.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four years of Division I playing experience in lieu of coaching experience.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of coaching experience.
