Garfield County Juvenile Detention Center is a non profit detention center licensed by the state of Oklahoma. We are hiring for the Juvenile Careworker position. You will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within the facility. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of the facility and ensure the well-being of juveniles and staff.
You will be responsible for monitoring and supervising detainees during their daily routine as well as documenting activities and observations. You must have the ability to enforce rules, as well as de-escalate potentially volatile situations in a safe and secure manner. You will be required to be an active and effective member of our team.
We will provide in house training as well as CPR/First Aid training.
