What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook - Full Time position at Garfield County Public Hospital District No.1?
Garfield County Hospital District is seeking a dependable full time cook for our facility kitchen. The position duties include cooking and/or assisting others in preparing foods for hospital and swing bed residents.
Other duties would include washing and prepping fruits, vegetables and meats, and cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils, prepping fresh breakfast foods and cooking meals according to recipes provided.
The kitchen hours are 5:00am to 7:30pm, with day, swing and evening shifts. The successful candidate will be trained on three different positions - Cook, Dishwasher, and Homemaker.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, must be able to follow recipes, must obtain food handler's permit and Serve Safe certification within 30 days of employment. One to two years' experience desired.
