What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER and Hospital PA/NP position at Garfield County Public Hospital District No.1?
Garfield County Hospital is searching for an experienced and compassionate PA or NP to work in an emergency department and swing bed setting, on a PRN basis. You would provide direct patient care, and round on acute and swing bed hospital patients as needed.
Other duties would include:
- Provide high quality patient care in an efficient, competent, ethical and professional manner
- Take patient histories, instructing and counseling patients
- Communicate effectively with other medical staff such as physicians, nurses, lab, imaging and other ancillary staff
- Provide direction to staff and nurses as it related to patient care
Salary is $80-$95 per hour, DOE. Must have Washington state PA licensure and the ability to obtain applicable professional liability insurance coverage. ACLS, TNCC, BLS and PALS required. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including night and weekend shifts.
