Concrete Form Setter
Pay: $16 an hour overtime pay (if applicable)
Location: Lubbock, TX - travel required to surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking driven and dedicated individuals to join our team! Under the direction of the foreman, a Concrete Form Setter performs a variety of carpentry tasks associated with the prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. This may include using a variety of concrete forming systems such as Symon, Gates, EFCO, etc. Assignments, either written or given verbally, are mainly repetitive and routine in nature, adhering to established methods and procedures and frequently inspected.
General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Set forms; pour, smooth, and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels, and other equipment.
- Bolt, nail, align and block under forms.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications.
- Work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.
- Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
- Work within defined standards of accuracy.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Driver’s License (preferred)
- Travel required to job sites (approx. 75%)
- Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
- Ability to work overtime, as required.
