We are currently seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE in California preferred) to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. This individual should be capable of managing engineering tasks independently, while also collaborating effectively with our in-house design / support staff.
What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Project Manager at GTA, you’ll play a critical role in delivering quality projects on time and on budget. Responsibilities include:
- Managing technical tasks and leading design efforts on a variety of civil engineering projects, including site development, utility infrastructure, grading, drainage, and roadway improvements
- Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and reports
- Collaborating with other staff to complete design packages
- Coordinating with clients, agencies, and other consultants
- Assisting in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Supporting Project Managers in moving projects through entitlement and permitting phases
Who You Are
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) in California or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Strong technical skills in grading, stormwater, utilities, and site design
- Proficient in Civil 3D and other design tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable collaborating within a small team environment

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
