We are seeking a Production Supervisor to manage the Peeled Garlic Line. This position oversees all aspects of garlic production, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective operations. This role includes managing people, costs, quality, safety, equipment, logistics, and production orders while meeting customer expectations and promoting continuous improvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
People:
Assure quantity and quality of people to run the lines in line with expected orders.
Develop employees in line with continuous improvement plans.
Train people in soft and hard skills to run the line in line with budget.
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
Establish daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees to assure alignment.
Understand properly how the process goes, be able to organize the production line aiming to improve the output.
Enhance communication amongst the team and other areas, as well as suppliers and customers.
Empower the workers to improve results.
Take full ownership of the line.
Cost:
Optimize yield in line with budget.
Optimize HC with optimal quantity of people, shifts and OT.
Achieve and optimize raw material and supplies theoretical consumption.
Submit reports on performance and progress with agreed KPIs.
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
Manage CAPEX to optimize the production line and its payback.
Inventory management and production planning to optimize cost.
Ensure proper rotation of the product
Process:
Monitor and fulfill orders to achieve 99% OTIF with best quality.
Assure HC, RM and supplies to achieve requested volumes.
Understand and meet all the rules regarding Hazard Analysis & Critical Points (HACCP) and food safety. program in each process of the company from raw materials, production, and final product.
Organize the production schedule to be able to prepare orders on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of work experience preferably in the same industry
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English & Spanish.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks.
- Experience in Inventory management and production planning
- Knowledge in Food expiration rotation preferred
- Engineer profile or technical profile
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Some knowledge in electricity and/or maintenance
- Other duties as assigned by manager or other members of management.
Salary : $65,000 - $69,000
