What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Garlic Lovers Corner Mediterranean Restaurant?

Looking for a host/hostess with potential to lead to a server position. Daytime availability a plus, but not necessary. Flexible hours, no early mornings or late nights. Hourly pay tips.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
- Giving guests accurate wait time estimates
- Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
- Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
- Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties
- Answering phones and accurately taking carry out orders, calculating cost of orders, accepting payments from guests, answering menu questions.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a cashier or host/hostess preferred, but we are willing to train.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, good phone etiquette

Pay: $13.20 - $20.90 per hour
