Essential Functions
- Responsible for quality of work performed in machine shop area. Accountable for fabrication and layout on a variety of parts or products involving close tolerances. Must set up and operate all machine shop machines to cut- bend, machine, or form parts. Uses a variety of machine shop hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Assists Lead in all functions of the machine shop including workflow and process improvement.
- Responsible for keeping both machinery and plant area in good working order, including cleaning and maintenance of machine shop equipment and all tools involved in daily production.
- Abides by all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the company including good common sense safety practices.
