POSITION DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS
DEPARTMENT : Supply Chain
POSITION TITLE : Assistant to Supply Chain Analyst / Specialist
REPORTS TO : Chief Supply Chain Officer
Job Summary
Under the guidance of the Chief Supply Chain Officer this position will be responsible for the procurement of flexible packaging across the various Garlock business units, based out of Reno, NV. Responsible for annual spend valued at over $100MM. The individual will support a wide range of administrative duties for the supply chain team.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with the achievement of company objectives and KPIs
- Ordering from suppliers to fulfill the warehouse demands and maintain service levels.
- Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments when necessary.
- Resolving issues around stock delays
- Maintain all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company’s quality requirements.
- Support the function of the Supply Chain department.
