Seamstress

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong proficiency in using sewing machines. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality garments and products in a fast-paced environment. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines to fabricate garments according to specifications.
• Perform garment construction tasks including cutting, stitching, and finishing.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Skills

• Proficient in sewing techniques and garment construction processes.
• Experience operating various types of sewing machines.
• Ability to work with different fabrics and materials effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
