Overview
We are seeking a full-time Aviation Technical Writer II in our Salem, OR location. In this role, you will be responsible for creating reader-friendly user’s guides, installation and maintenance manuals.
Essential Functions
- Research and write pilot’s guides, quick reference guides, installation manuals, and / or maintenance manuals
- Create electronic documents using word processing and desktop publishing tools
- Communicate with the Design Engineers in areas that relate to the product specifications and product development
- Enhance mechanical drawings and screen captures as needed
- Work in a team environment within the Technical Publications area to constantly improve the archival, storage and documentation process
- Edit copy written by other Technical Writers for content organization, style, voice, audience and consistency of format
