Overview
We are seeking a full-time UI Designer 1 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and producing basic icons, interface designs, and other graphical needs primarily supporting Garmin market segments.
Essential Functions
- Creates basic images such as icons, fonts, graphical themes, and other digital artwork for Garmin deliverables using programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and other programs in Adobe’s Creative Suite.
- Learns and applies basic imaging standards, guidelines, and processes in the planning and execution of basic imaging projects.
- Catalogs icons, fonts, and other graphics for future use and continuity of design.
- Works closely with others to create concept presentations and graphics for deliverables.
- Ensures continuity of corporate / department image in graphics.
- Proactively seeks, applies, shares, and retains detailed information.
- Learns and applies appropriate requirements, standards, processes, procedures, tools, and technologies in addition to thoroughly documenting work in an organized manner.
