What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Garner Behavior Services, LLC?

Then you are looking for GBS!! GBS is an IBHS-ABA company that provides 1:1 center based ABA to young children with autism diagnoses. General staff hours are 8:30-3pm Monday through Friday. The first and third Thursday each month GBS holds mandatory all staff meetings until 4:30/5pm. Additional home hours after sessions or on weekends may be available for staff upon receipt of RBT certification.
Requirements:
- high school diploma or higher degree (must show evidence)
- clearances (child abuse, criminal and fingerprints. We need to see originals, 4 yrs old or less)
- mandated reporter
- physical ability to perform job duties (up and down off the floor, little chairs, quick moving with children)
- mental ability to perform job duties (ability to have fun and maintain client confidentiality)
- Intellectual ability to perform job duties (English reading skills, basic math skills, excel and MS Word experience)

BHT starts at $15/hr. Upon RBT certification (must pass RBT exam.. 40 hr training is NOT RBT certification) staff move to $18/hr for billable and prep activities. Bachelors degree = additional $1/hr for RBT status.
GBS has 2 centers, one in Williamsport, and one in Lewisburg and soon opening in Lock Haven. Staff are typically assigned to one location, but are expected to fill in as needed at either location, and for training purposes. (Training typically conducted at wmspt center)
For those seeking their BCBA certification, on site supervised field work is provided.
